KOSÉ Holdings Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koichi Shibusawa) announces that the company has been selected for the seventh consecutive year for the FTSE4Good Index Series^*1 and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index*2, the fifth consecutive year for the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index^*2, and the eighth consecutive year for the MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN)^*3, the leading indicators for ESG (environmental, social and governance) investment.

FTSE4Good Index Series and FTSE Blossom Japan Index are indexes developed by FTSE Russell, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), aimed at selection of companies that excel in ESG practices. MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN) was created by MSCI Inc. of the United States to select Japanese companies that rate high in gender diversity rating. Companies that stand out in the engagement of women and promotion of diversity are selected from among the top 700 in market capitalization in Japan. These indexes are being used by investors around the world in investment decision-making to assess the business value of the company, not only in terms of financial performance, but also in terms of the company’s social responsibility and ethical activities.
